Mike Inwood - Lighting Designer (The Mandrake)
Mike Inwood’s lighting designs have been seen
across the United States, Canada and the UK. Recent work includes
productions at The Utah Festival Opera, and New York productions at Ars
Nova, PS122, The Ontological-Hysteric Theater, Dance Theater Workshop,
and the Theater at Riverside Church. Over the last several years Mike
has had the privilege of working with many outstanding directors and
choreographers including Pamela Berlin, Emma Griffin, Pirronne
Yousefzadeh, Miguel Gutierrez, Michael Sexton, Gus Solomons Jr. and
Drew Barr. In Canada Mike has designed pieces for Amber Funk Barton,
Wen Wei Wang, Emily Molnar, Cori Caulfield, Santee Smith and Gaetan
Gingras. In February 2010 Mike was the Lighting Director for the NBC
Universal Sports network’s coverage of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic
Games. Mike currently works at CNN New York as the Associate Lighting
Director for its morning news programming. Mike has an MFA from the
