Claire Jared - 'Mrs. Soonewrought' (The Mandrake)
Claire Jared trained at London's Italia Conti Theatre
Academy where she completed the BA Honours acting course. She was
fortunate enough to play a variety of roles including Titania in
Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Kay in J.B. Priestly's Time
and the Conways and the title role of Piaf in the autobiographical
story of Edith Piaf, which transferred to the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe
festival. Claire also had the privilege of being one of a select few to
perform at Shakespeare's Globe as part of the Sam Wanamaker festival.
Since graduating Claire's stage credits include the youngest child,
Phyllis, in The Railway Children and Luciana in The Comedy of Errors.
Claire's television appearances include various BBC period dramas,
including Sense and Sensibility, Little Dorrit and Emma. Claire is
thoroughly looking forward to returning to this year's Edinburgh Fringe
Festival as part of The Mandrake cast.
