Foul Papers Theatre Company was founded in March 2010 by co-Artistic Managing Directors Luke Beattie and Sophie Hickman. Our mandate is to create productions that seek out and honour the playwright’s intentions while employing a modern staging style.

“Foul papers” are a writer’s working drafts; we take our name from them as we strive to harness each text’s inherent creative vitality.
